This post is dedicated to Trav's Grandpa Gerry, who passed away in October. Grandpa was a funny man who always made everyone laugh with his quick remarks! Grandpa Gerry married Trav's Grandma Irene (Mom F.'s Mom) the same year Mom and Dad Fin were married. It was his first marriage, so in a day he went from being a total bachelor, to having a big family! And boy did that family grow! Over the years, he became Grandpa to 13 grandkids! He was the only Grandfather Travis ever had the pleasure of knowing, as his other Grandfathers passed away before he had the chance to meet them. Travis loved his Grandpa and loved to chat with him....especially about the Toronto Blue Jays! Although Travis has many fond memories of his Grandfather, I think one of his fondest was when he and his two friends, Kevin and Jay went up to Canada to go to a Blue Jays game with Grandpa. Travis always talks about what a fun trip that was and how Grandma and Grandpa were so hospitable to his friends. I'm so happy I was able to meet Grandpa and hear that great laugh of his! Rest in Peace Grandpa Gerry.
So thankful to have great pictures of our Grandparents.
