Walt Disney World Marathon 2009!

As I mentioned in a previous post, my future Mother in law and three of her close friends came down to Orlando to run in the WDW Marathon 2009! The race took place on a gorgeous Sunday morning without a cloud in the sky!

The race started and finished at EPCOT but led the runners through all four of the Disney parks. Apparently fireworks kicked off the run and there was lots of music, characters, comedians, and singers to entertain them as they were chugging along! Mom and Marsha told us there was even a gospel choir singing their hearts out as they ran over the finish line! Disney sure knows how to do it!

I am totally in awe of their accomplishment and aspire to do something equally as remarkable during my lifetime! Congratulations! You did it!!!!
