This post is in honor of my doggy niece, Bella was recently put to rest.
Such a sweet little pup had such a sweet little story....
Back in 2005, a man found her roaming the streets of Philadelphia and was on his way to take her to the pound when my sister came upon them. Something about Bella tugged at Leigh Anne’s heartstrings. You see, Bella was an adorable mess. She had a little bit of an under bite, a funny bent ear, a mild case of dandruff, a chubby tummy….and she didn’t always know where she was! But even with her silly flaws, she was the sweetest little girl who just needed a home and people to love her. Well, she truly hit the doggy jackpot on 2/25/2005 when my sister found her and took her home! From that point on, she spent her days being fawned over, getting leftovers from restaurants, going on walks, napping, snuggling with her doggy brother, Astro and getting treats for just about any and every reason! Many people would not have the patience required to take care of a dog like Bella…especially as she got older. It’s because of my sister, Leigh Anne Moriarty, and my brother in law, Frank Moriarty that Bella was able to live a full and wonderful life. Their giving hearts truly saved her. Rest in Peace Little Bella Bear. I'll make sure to give Nellie some extra pets and treats. xoxo
