Amber and Billy are ENGAGED!!!

May 10th was a very special day! The sky was clear, the sun was shining and...oh yeah....two of my favorite people got engaged to be married!!! A few months ago, Billy and Amber planned a trip down to visit us. As if them visiting wasn't exciting enough, Billy called me a few weeks prior to their arrival to tell us he wanted to propose while they were down here! Ahhhhh! So excited! So, he came up with a great plan and we got to be a part of the big surprise!!! Billy and Amber went to EPCOT on that Monday morning and had a great time playing around in the park. As they were roaming around the World Showcase, they happened upon the Canadian pavilion! Billy took Amber to the back of the pavilion where there is a beautiful water fall and garden, he got down on one knee and popped the big question! And she said.....YES!!! You may be asking yourself, why the Canadian pavilion? Well, besides it being wonderfully beautiful and private, Canada (the actual country) has special meaning for Amber and Billy. They first started dating in 2007 at the end of the summer and Amber was just on her way back to school up at Queens University in Canada. So, Billy spent much of the first year of their relationship going up to Canada to visit Amber!

After the big proposal, Travis and I surprised them with lunch at Les Chefs de France, located in the French pavilion at EPCOT. We had some treats waiting for them when they arrived!
