New Years and Festivus!

My side of the fam celebrated Christmas (or Festivus, as we like to call it) on New Year's Day! It was a lot of fun, as usual!

Trav and I went to visit my Grandmothers on this trip home .

My Dad! I think he looks a bit like Jack in this one!

In 1950 my Grandmom won $1200 in the Inquirer newspaper Jackpot. It was the largest jackpot to date, so it was a pretty big deal! She got her picture in the paper and everything! The newspaper really wanted a picture of her, my Dad, Uncle Wayne and the check, but my Uncle Wayne kept fussing with the check! So, they couldn't use this picture. But how cute is it!? My Grandmom was such a beauty!

Uncle Wayne pulled out the copy of the newspaper, so I took some shots of it. March 8th 1950!

I thought it was pretty neat!

After Grandmom's we went back to Lehigh's for dinner and to sing Happy Birthday to Jack. None of us were around on his actual birthday (November 4th), so my Mom made him some cupcakes to celebrate on New Years.

Making Jack laugh with my fake yawns!! He started imitating me and it was so funny!
